Eva Holderegger-Walser (Switzerland)

Doris and Eva met over 20 years ago through dog sports. First together in agility, then in obedience and later in the search dog group. As breeders, they quickly found common interests and by chance they came across a video cassette from the USA. It was an instruction manual for testing the body structure of puppies: The Puppy Puzzle Method by Pat Hastings.

Doris and Eva tested their first litter in 2004 and were fascinated.
It was unbelievable what abilities could already be seen in the 8-week-old puppy. The two of them worked on the complex topic with a lot of passion and analyzed countless litters of different breeds. Doris recorded everything meticulously and Eva’s camera was running hot. The two of them consolidated their knowledge at various courses with Pat Hastings and, at Pat’s request, they translated and dubbed her outdated DVD into German.

A lively exchange ensued and Pat was very pleased that Doris and Eva, among others, had finally discovered the cause of the widespread rolling pads.
The general interest was huge. In addition to the original puppy test seminar, the basic seminar on “dog anatomy” and the advanced seminar “Fit for breeding and sport” were developed especially for dog sports enthusiasts. The latter deals with the effects of problematic weak points in the body structure on the performance of dogs.
